High Desert Hobbies is a family owned and operated business. We've strived to make a friendly and safe atmosphere for all ages to enjoy.
We opened in October of 2003 with the idea to have a hobby shop in the area with staff that is friendly, honest, and knowledgeable. There was also a lack of on-road and off-road R/C car race events in the A.V. so we decided to take a chance. We know that many of our customer's lives have changed for the better because of a hobby they picked up here or have been able to carry on. That has been the most rewarding aspect for us and keeps us alive.
We hold weekly on-road parking lot races; and small scale R/C cars indoors on our exclusive dirt track; as well as races at are our off-road track.
We carry many major brand name r/c cars and parts, r/c planes, boats, trains, models, crafts and school project supplies. If it isn't in stock, we can order it for you. Take advantage of our free r/c analysis and repair. (parts not included and restrictions apply)
Now closing in on our 4th year of successful operation, we have expanded our inventory, tracks, and footprint in the Antelope Valley and beyond.
